Wellmama is a simple and efficient app for any woman who just received a bundle of joy. If you just had a baby, and you feel like you need to get your body moving, gently and little by little, then Wellmama might just be for you. This app offers you post-pregnancy exercises for your body and your mind.
Using Wellmama is really easy, which is definitely a plus because every second counts when you have a brand new baby at home. As soon as you enter the app, you’ll see a sleek interface that offers you several options. You can either choose to complete a 5-minute workout without props or a 15-minute workout with props. Don’t worry, if you don’t have yoga equipment, the app gives you different options that you’ll usually have laying around your house. For example, instead of using a yoga brick, you can use a couple of stacked books.
Wellmama also offers three areas of your body that you can work out: mind & spirit, neck & shoulders, or lower back. As soon as you tap on any of these options, you’ll see a list of exercises that you can perform. It should be noted that a lot of these workouts are locked and can be unlocked by purchasing the PRO version.
Another great feature that Wellmama offer is that each exercise includes audio instructions that advise you how to position yourself and what to do and what not to do while you’re completing your exercises. There are also written instructions that you can check if you think that you might be doing something wrong. Basically, Wellmama is a great alternative for you if you’re looking for a way to start gently moving your body after your pregnancy.
